After reboot, check your logs for any errors, make sure asterisk is up and running.

Be proactive and look for problems before you start configuring vicidial.

Run these commands to view log files:

tail -f -n 50 /var/log/asterisk/messages

tail -f -n 50 /var/log/messages

more /var/log/dmesg

tail -f -n 40 /etc/httpd/logs/error_log

tail -f -n 40 /var/log/maillog

tail -f -n 40 /var/log/cron

Run this command:

screen -ls

The output should look similar to this: 9or 10 sockets
